David Wilding
Mr.
Wilding holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Business Administration
degree from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Management.
He is a 3rd-year law student at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the
University of Utah. During law school, he was the Client Counseling
Competition champion, and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for
the Future award in Legal Research.
Mr.
Wilding’s practice emphasis is in the preparation and acquisition of
patents. He has assisted clients in obtaining patents in various
technologies including: Semiconductor processing, integrated circuit
design, optical devices, networking, software, and business methods.
Mr.
Wilding has worked in the semiconductor and aerospace industries. He
spent several years working for Micron Technology, Inc. as an engineer
on the manufacture and testing of semiconductor memory devices. In this
capacity, he participated in the development of various DRAM and SRAM
products. As an engineer, he worked for TRW (now Northrop Grumman) on
DOD’s ICBMs. He maintained battery, power, and code systems for the
Minuteman and Peacekeeper nuclear missiles. Mr. Wilding also has
experience with the construction of commercial and industrial
electrical and power systems, including oil refineries, power plants,
and mining facilities. As an entrepreneur, he has owned and managed his
own businesses.
Mr. Wilding
is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark
Office.
