About Jason R. Jones
Jason is a registered patent attorney whose practice is focused on assisting clients in patent and trademark matters. Jason has drafted and prosecuted patents in a wide range of technologies, primarily in the mechanical arts. His patent experience includes: endoscopic surgical techniques and devices; flooring systems; amusement park rides; engine and turbocharger designs; and carbon nanotube applications. Jason strives to understand the underlying product lines, business strategy, technological assets and risk temperament of every client he represents. He likes to work with clients in the initial process of product and brand development in order to provide the most efficient and cost effective counsel throughout the life of any particular product or process.
Jason spends much of his free time with his four sons, who involve him in a variety of activities. He is a frequent, if not often successful, participant in amateur billiard sport events. He enjoys working with his hands, and to this day maintains his grandfather’s vintage truck that has been in his family since it was manufactured in 1972.
